9. Its small, simple and highly functional!
Got a historic computer with 512MB RAM and a super full 30GB Hard Drive? No problem, Firefox (with a couple modifications) can be used on the slowest of computer and will barely take up any disk space while still providing the basic functions most people need!
8. Switching Is Easy!
Good ol’ Firefox can import all the Bookmarks/Favourites, Cookies and other setting straight from IE during installation. And if you are sooo used to the big blue “e” and the familiar layout you can get skins that look EXACTLY like IE! Check out this page to see how you can make your Firefox look just like IE7!
7. It has Google Power!
By the looks of it Google and Mozilla (the creator of Firefox) are getting closer and closer! With Firefox you have a built in Google Search Box and a couple of other sweet Google Features (check out the Google Sections for more info!). And one of my favourite Google related parts of Firefox is the fact that you only have to type in the main part of the URL and it will take you there (e.g. Instead of typing “www.facebook.com”, you only have to type “facebook”).
6. You can “Pimp My Web-Browser”
As nerdy as it sounds it is pretty cool. With “Themes” you can make your Firefox look like anything from Dark & Evil to Ocean Blue to IE7.
5. It has Tabs!
Sure Internet Explorer 7 has tabs to but.... well.... Firefox had it first :P! Ok, to the point: if you don’t regularly use tabs you really should, they really come in handy when you a bazillion things open at once.
4. You get bragging rights/respect!
With Firefox you can go around telling all the IE n00bs how bad their internet browser is and how 1337 yours is! And atleast you can get respect from all those computer geeks out there!
3. It’s safe!
As long as you don’t keep give out your credit card number or download things that come out of pop-ups, you can consider yourself relatively safe. Since it doesn’t use ActiveX or VB Scripts it is much less likely to be targeted by malicious software/hacking. Although it is not completely idiot-proof, you can sleep soundly know that you have the safest browser available!

As the great saying goes: the best things in life are free, I don’t think there could be a better example than this situation!
